Marc Miller's Bio
Marc began his career in 1977 after attending the University of Oklahoma on a Track Scholarship. Born in Fort Worth, his family roots are in Texas. His career has spanned over 40 years touching on virtually every aspect of the title insurance industry. In that period of time he has been involved in the startup of two title companies, Texas Title and Capital Title of Texas, as the President and CEO. He was CEO of American Title, a LandAmerica Company from 2000-2003. He also served as Executive Vice President of Allegiance Title and Director of Operations for Legacy Texas Title in Collin County.
Over the last 15 years Marc has been a constant volunteer and leader in causes against child abuse. He served on the board of Collin County Children’s Advocacy Center, two years as Board President and also served on the state board of Children’s Advocacy Centers of Texas, finishing his last term at Board President. Marc has been a resident of Dallas for over 35 years. He raised his children in Lake Highlands. His daughter attended SMU on a music scholarship and is in the music industry. His son attended the University of Arkansas and followed Marc into the title business as a commercial escrow officer in Dallas. Marc has two grandchildren.
Andi Clark Phillips' Bio
Andi Clark Phillips has four decades of experience in the title industry.
She began her career working with her father at a national title company
in the North Dallas area, and together they opened a fee attorney office
in 1983, and in 1996 opened an independent title company. In 2010 she
became President of her family title company, which was eventually
acquired by Secured Title of Texas, LLC. She attributes her knowledge and
love of the real estate industry to her father’s wisdom, courage and strength.
Customers will find that Andi has a well-deserved reputation in the
Commercial and Residential industry for superior service, complete
integrity and unmatched strength in her closing skills and knowledge.
Her fields of expertise include land, farm and ranch acquisitions,
commercial and residential high-rise purchases, condominium and
townhome developments, industrial facilities, multifamily complexes,
shopping centers, independent adult care and memory care facilities,
and one-to-four residential closings ranging from low-income to
multimillion-dollar homes. She is also one of the few Texas closers who
handle USA forfeiture and seizure closings.
Steering a broad spectrum of transactions ranging up to $50 million, Andi
has handled loan closings on interim construction loans, permanent loans,
hedge fund loans, SBA loans including 7A’s and 504 debentures, along with
refinances and home equity loans.
Andi’s strong will and dedication to serving clients’ needs has transformed
the most doubtful customers into loyal ones. Her ability to find solutions
to difficult issues is a special talent she brings to the company’s goal of
providing “Service Beyond Expectation.”
On the personal side, she spends time with her husband,
Doug, fishing, hunting, motorcycling, gardening and enjoying their
three young grandchildren.
Michelle Beatty's Bio
Michelle Beatty, an Oklahoma State University graduate, has lived in Texas since 2011 beginning a career in the title industry. In 2013 she joined the Secured Title of Texas team. Michelle’s role with Secured Title of Texas is business development and marketing. Her role and responsibilities include securing commercial and residential business, maintain current cliental, and developing marketing material. She enjoys working with such a strong team that excels in each of their roles favoring one another as a friend. The culture at this company is unique, modeling the tagline, “Service Beyond Expectation”.
She is past President of McKinney Kiwanis Club and is co-founder of the sporting clay fundraiser called Shooting for the Future. Since 2014 the event has raised more than $120K benefiting Boys and Girls Club of Collin County. Michelle is passionate about giving back to the community and helping local non-profits.
In her spare time, Michelle and her husband, spend time on their 5 acre farm raising chickens, cows, and cultivating a large garden. She is proud of her two step sons accomplishments and their help on the farm. Her oldest step son is a United States Marine. They have been members of Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas since 2011.
Autumn Morold's Bio
Autumn brings vast knowledge of the title and real estate
industries to every transaction as an organized, detail oriented
professional with over 23 years of experience. She is familiar
with all aspects of closing and escrow from both sides of
the closing table. Her years on the front line of this unique
industry have enabled her to witness the exponential growth
of this diverse market and develop into a valuable asset for any
real estate or mortgage team.
Her keen comprehension of the local real estate market allows
Autumn to provide exceptional customer service to benefit the
real estate agent and ensure an enjoyable closing experience
for their customer. Autumn’s knowledge of the industry allows
her to strategically assist the realtors involved in a transaction
with superior service and to help with any situation that may
arise prior to closing or at the closing table.
An extensive industry background allows Autumn and her
knowledgeable team to focus on the needs of the first-time
homebuyer, relocating buyer, investor or someone buying
their fifth home! She understands the process must work
efficiently and feels communication is the key.
In her spare time, she likes to travel, play golf and be with her
Kenny Smith's Bio
Kenny began his career in the Title Industry in 1984 as a courier for U.S. Life Title Company in Fort Worth Texas. Like many people in the industry, he worked his way up through the ranks learning all the key processes to examination of title including chain of title search, abstracting, and examination. After honing his skills over the next decade, he was giving the opportunity to take over the Plant Manger position with Cornerstone Title Company in Houston, Texas.
Having demonstrated his ability to run a full-scale title plant, he was given the opportunity to further advance his success and accepted a promotion to Arizona with Cornerstone Title/ Ryland Title in 2001. Over the next three years he built a centralized title plant providing title services in 5 different states. He remained in Arizona advancing to a Chief Title Officer and National Commercial Title Officer until 2013, when he relocated back to Texas. He joined Secured Title of Texas in May of 2016 as Director of Title Operations leading a multi-county title plant operation that provides examination services in both residential and commercial services. Through his prior experiences he has brought the capability of Secured Title of Texas to a statewide service platform, utilizing a centralized title service process, while managing a sizeable production examination team. Kenny is a player coach. His examination skills contribute to the knowledge pool that he has developed bringing the best of class in examination services.
He is a proud father of 2 adult children and became a grandfather for the first time in 2020. He enjoys the outdoors, boating and riding his Harley whenever he has a chance.
